Adopt an Olive Tree?

What a clever idea! At NUDO, you can 'adopt' an Olive Tree and then receive Olive Oil from that tree throughout the year. Since it ships from overseas, I have no idea how the pricing works out, but what a great idea. If the deal included cured olives, it'd be hard for me to resist.

Seeing their website made me think it's a good time to remind people to check around in their area for a CSA community-supported agriculture) farm to join/support. For a modest monthly or yearly fee you'll get fresh, local produce and be supporting your local farmers.

I'm trying to leave a comment on your big picture blog but your comment form doesn't work.

It brings up a word verification thing that is too big for the window it displays in. This is because you are using a wordpress theme on a blogspot domain.

Hopefully you will sort it out soon. Although I'm beginning to think (from what I have read about you on other blogs) that you are deliberately blocking the discussion.

I am sorry anyone has had a problem posting on this blog. I have recently hired someone for a new site that I hope will be able to fix some of these problems.

The comment problems have occurred as a direct result of me altering themes when I really don't know what I'm doing.

I never block comments. Ever.

And in this case, I can't even tell you enough how much I love olives. This month our local community is having lessons on how to 'make' olives, and I will be there.

The little green olives are my favourites.

I'd definitely adopt an olive tree. I love olive oil and if I can make a contribution for olive trees, than this is another bonus.
